Cody Ward and George Horsfall Recognized for Safety Leadership

Deepwater Operator A Cody Ward and Ballast Control Operator George Horsfall were recently recognized at Oxy’s year-end Scorecard meeting in The Woodlands for their outstanding contributions to the Oxy Safety Observation program.

Throughout 2025, Cody and George submitted a combined 1,395 observation cards, each reflecting thoughtful insight, clear detail and actionable recommendations. Their efforts provided nearly 1,400 opportunities to improve operations and strengthen safety across their platforms.

More importantly, their willingness to speak up and take action helped prevent potential hazards before they could impact their teams. Their observations not only identified risks but also drove meaningful change—making their worksites safer for everyone.

Cody and George’s commitment reflects a strong bias for action and a deep dedication to protecting their coworkers. Their efforts are a clear example of what it looks like to live out the Danos Purpose and Values every day.

Thank you, Cody and George, for your leadership and continued commitment to Service, Safety and Improvement.
