As I reflect on 2024, I am grateful for all of you that supported those in need through the Danos Foundation. This year has been more than a mission—it has been a calling to honor God and serve others through generosity, compassion, service and commitment. The Foundation has been a vessel of God’s love, extending a helping hand to employees in need, strengthening families and communities, and providing hope where it was needed most.

Volunteer: A person who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task. The Danos WORKs program is committed to enhancing the communities where we live and work through volunteerism. Throughout the year there are many opportunities to get involved and give back. A few upcoming service opportunities include:

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this year’s Danos Foundation SOUPer Bowl! Whether you were stirring the pot, casting your votes or simply enjoying delicious soup, you helped make this event a fantastic success.

Recently, Danos and PES employees volunteered at the LOOP and United Way South Louisiana Souperbowl in Houma, LA.

At Danos, we’re committed to leaving a positive mark on our local communities, and the WORKS program is a key part of that mission. This year so far, our employees have logged 3,152.5 hours of service to nonprofit organizations.

The Danos Foundation’s much-anticipated online auction has concluded, and this year’s event was a tremendous success. Held from November 15 to 30, the auction brought together supporters from the Danos Foundation community, all for a great cause.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! We cannot thank all of you enough for your support of the Danos Foundation. Without you, none of our work would be possible. In particular, we’d like to thank our employee donors who so generously give back to our communities through payroll deductions.

At first glance, a single photo might seem like a simple moment in time, just as a single act of generosity—a small donation or helping hand—might appear insignificant on its own. But when you step back and take a broader view, the picture changes. Imagine a mosaic made of thousands of small, individual photos. Up close, they seem random, but together, they create something beautiful—a work of art that wouldn’t exist without each tiny piece.

On September 19 and 20, Owner Eric Danos and employees Kerry Thibodaux, Avie Fontenot, Tish Hebert and Breeon Williams volunteered their time to assist Second Harvest Food Bank for a "Fill the Fridge" event. The goal of the food distribution was to replace refrigerator contents that had perished due to Hurricane Francine.

On August 14, Foundation Chairperson Tish Hebert was sworn in as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for Lafourche Parish. As a CASA, she will be assigned to specific children within the foster system to become their advocate/voice in the court system.

On June 7, the Permian Basin Petroleum Association (PBPA) hosted its 2024 Sporting Clay Shoot & Oil Patch Pit King Challenge in Midland, Texas. Foundation Ambassadors Paul Quintero and James Collins took home second place at the challenge with their carne asada tacos! A combination of Paul’s secret marinade and James’s grill master skills helped secure the win. They garnished their tacos with sautéed jalapenos and onions. Delicious!

Danos is pleased to renew its partnership with the Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council (CACRC) to promote sustainability, responsible recycling and to help solve big challenges in our local communities.

Team Danos continues to participate in Danos WORKS. Many teammates are volunteering time with nonprofits, logging their hours online, and presenting a check to the organization for the hours served.

With the two Houma Safety Focus events in the rearview mirror, allow me a minute to share a reflection of both days. These events tend to tug at me in a deep way, and I am reminded that these two days are well spent. We can spend time with our larger Danos team engaging one another about safety while sharing ways to provide opportunities for and to celebrate community service.

On Saturday, April 6, Team Danos continued to support of the American Cancer Society and its mission. Fourteen Danos employees collectively recorded 137 hours of service at the 2024 Relay for Life event in Houma, LA.

The Shell Deepwater Golf Tournament, now in its 27th year, recently occurred in Diamondhead, Mississippi. This annual event helps to support the efforts of St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
