After more than three decades of dedicated service, Joseph E. (J.E.) Rutherford has retired from Danos, closing a remarkable 32.5-year career.

Danos recently completed and delivered its first PLC control panels built in-house, marking a key step in expanding turnkey capabilities for customers.

Deepwater Electrician Grant Herpin recently earned high praise from Oxy Operations Manager Mike Nance for going above and beyond to support the team offshore.

Danos is pleased to announce several leadership changes within our land production services and coastal restoration teams. These changes reflect our continued growth and expansion across key shale regions, including the Permian, Eagle Ford, Rockies, North Louisiana and Mississippi, and position us to strengthen regional support while continuing to deliver operational excellence for our customers.

Fleet Supervisor Kathryne Smith recently presented at the Geotab Conference, where she shared insights into Danos’ fleet safety program and the measurable progress achieved in recent years.

Hank Danos, owner and chairman of the Danos board, spoke at this month’s meeting of the South Central Industrial Association (SCIA), sharing the history of Danos and the original dream of founders Allen Danos Sr. and Syriaque Curole.

In 2025, our fleet logged over 15 million miles in support of our people, projects and customers.

On Tuesday, November 18, Hank Danos was presented with the prestigious Ed Steimel Achievement Award, recognizing his decades of leadership, innovation and community impact across Louisiana. The award, given annually by the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), honors individuals whose extraordinary commitment helps strengthen the state’s economy and quality of life.

Compliance Coordinator Rick Keen recently recognized Danos Risk Manager Ross Barker for his efforts to ensure our corporate risk protection is met. His responsibilities are indirectly aligned with our safety department. Rick said,

Jason Mayet was born into the industry. A third-generation oilfielder, Jason followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, both of whom spent decades in the industry, and even his mother worked at Danos for many years.

On October 15, the team at the W&T OTF H2S Treatment plant marked 18 years of incident-free operations- an incredible milestone in a safety-sensitive and highly-challenging environment. Danos currently has 20 employees working at this location, ranging from plant and board operators to mechanics, electricians, I&E technicians and office support staff.

On a recent job performance evaluation, a Shell representative provided glowing feedback for Account Manager Emily Knight and the broader Danos team.

When it comes to going above and beyond, the teamwork demonstrated by one of an offshore crews is a perfect example of Danos’ commitment to service.

I’m excited to share that the quality department is now part of our safety team—a move that strengthens our focus on keeping people safe and work done right. Quality and safety go hand in hand, and bringing these groups together just makes sense.

Danos’ Western Region Production Operators have earned high praise from our customer Chevron for their outstanding work on the 2024–2025 BSEE inspections.

Information Security Officer Corey Stein has been named 2024 Staff Employee of the Year. Corey has 12 years of service to Danos and has been nominated for the award 11 times.

The Danos Drive for Safety program recognizes distinguished field employees who consistently display an unwavering commitment to safe driving.

Over the summer, production services was fortunate to host two interns Andrew Nettleton and Austin DiStefano. They each brought energy, curiosity and fresh perspectives to our team. Andrew worked at our warehouse in Houma as a land warehouseman intern, while Austin supported offshore operations on the Shenzi platform as an inventory specialist intern.
