Decommissioning Team Earns Customer Praise

Danos’ Western Region Production Operators have earned high praise from our customer Chevron for their outstanding work on the 2024–2025 BSEE inspections.
Chevron Decommissioning Ops Lead – West Region, John Henry said: "This is truly a testament to the caliber of the 20+ production operations workforce supporting Chevron’s Asset Retirement Operations in the Western Region. It takes a high functioning, safety minded and focused team to continuously meet BSEE regulatory compliance across 80 facilities. This has Danos Values of Safety and Service written all over it.
This completes our West Region inventory 2024-2025 inspections with 814 Components and 0 INC’s. Amazing accomplishments by all involved from last year until now as we faced tremendous challenges as a team and with personnel safety NOT compromised, we ended with this result. The look back shows the West Region from Eugene Island – Brazos had 80 facilities inspected and to go INC Free is nothing short of world class in my opinion. That doesn’t include the follow-up visits and drop-ins that were conducted by BSEE either. This result comes with a high performing team that built relationships with these inspectors to gain their trust and understanding on our culture that set the foundation for AR Ops going forward.
As always, our frontline work forces need to be recognized so, please pass on our appreciation to them as it would not be possible without them.”
Thank you to the decommissioning team for demonstrating the Danos difference!
*Oil and Gas 101 - Issues of Noncompliance, also known as INCs, are violations of federal regulations that are observed by a BSEE inspector and issued to an operator. Each INC has a specific resulting action and requires a corrective action by the operator receiving the INC.
