Danos recently completed and delivered its first PLC control panels built in-house, marking a key step in expanding turnkey capabilities for customers.

As part of SCIA and Fletcher’s Manufacturing Week, Danos was one of nine businesses to host local students this year. Vandebilt Catholic students and their chaperones toured the Amelia facility, guided by Janel Ricca of Fletcher and Project Manager Russ Gisclair, Superintendent Ronald Rainey and Business Development Rep. Matthew Pere.

On Thursday, September 25, production services GoA hosted our Safety & Development Forum in Lafayette. The event brought together field employees from land locations as well as shelf and deepwater assets for a day of learning, connection and growth.

Last month, Danos Operations Services (DOS) and PES team members traveled to Sabine Pass—the home base of the Xenos TX-10000 Heavy Lift Vessel—to attend the IFO and campaign kickoff meeting for an exciting upcoming project.

Earlier this summer, our coastal restoration team joined ConocoPhillips in hosting campers from the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center during a hands-on field trip in Houma, La. As part of the experience, students learned about Natrx's Cajun Coral—a nature-based solution Danos is helping deploy to protect Louisiana’s coast—and even built their own mini versions using clay.

Last week, Danos proudly hosted a dynamic group of regional leaders at our Resilience Center of Excellence in Amelia, highlighting innovative work in coastal restoration. In collaboration with Natrx, the event spotlighted the increasing momentum behind smarter, scalable nature-based solutions for protecting our coastlines.

Members from the LSU Foundation and LSU’s College of Engineering joined Danos in Amelia to tour the Danos coastal restoration operation in partnership with Natrx. Natrx's Tyler Ortego did a deep dive covering the process of creating Cajun Coral, its applications and the different shapes and sizes that we create.

Earlier this month, our team hit the ground running at Manifest 2025, one of the supply chain industry’s premier events. This year’s conference brought together top leaders and innovators from around the world to discuss the future of logistics, technology and collaboration—and we were right in the mix!

Danos and Natrx are transforming coastal restoration with cutting-edge technology and innovation. OysterBreaks are an advanced solution designed to protect and restore vulnerable shorelines.

Danos recently completed the installation of a new artificial reef in Timbalier Bay, LA. The objective is to revive the current fish population, benefiting local recreational anglers. This collaborative project was made possible through the support of Chevron, Natrx and the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA).

Coastal Conservation Association's (CCA) REEF Louisiana Program completed construction on the South Marsh Island 235 artificial reef located south of Cypremort Point. The project was a joint effort with The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Danos and White Water Contractors.

Each year Danos introduces a strategic plan for the company. This year the theme is “Set the Standard,” with one of the initiatives focusing on transformational growth. The fleet department has been working hard to align with this and strengthen our future. We are excited to announce a partnership with a new fleet management company, Holman (ARI) Fleet & Automotive Services.

In order to engage with potential customers in the downstream industry, Danos has joined the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC). As a member of ABC, we can utilize the services of any one chapter. There are 69 chapters across the nation, and each chapter specializes in specific training. These trainings are associated with hands-on performance verifications.

By zero-hour overhauling an engine, the power-generation team was able to recycle and reuse equipment, saving energy and materials to create a new one!

Danos’ i2ms team has been busy growing their service offering. In November, General Manager of Supply Chain Services Scott Theriot presented at the Energy Supply Chain and Procurement Conference in Houston, Texas. At the conference, Scott spoke to attendees, introducing them to i2ms and the full service, data-driven offering it provides.

Health and safety professionals generally agree that metallic items above 140°F should be protected in a manner so that accidental contact will not result in a burn. The Danos insulation team recently completed a project repairing insulation to protect asset personnel from hot surfaces. By utilizing insulation spacers and perforated metal, the crew reduced the risk of accidental burn while providing acoustical benefits to the structure.
