Danos Hosts Students for Tour

As part of SCIA and Fletcher’s Manufacturing Week, Danos was one of nine businesses to host local students this year. Vandebilt Catholic students and their chaperones toured the Amelia facility, guided by Janel Ricca of Fletcher and Project Manager Russ Gisclair, Superintendent Ronald Rainey and Business Development Rep. Matthew Pere.

The visit focused on Coastal Restoration, with an overview of the manufacturing process for Cajun Coral and oysterbreaks and the important roles these structures play in protecting coastlines. After the presentation, students explored the facility, seeing firsthand the equipment, techniques and expertise behind Danos’ restoration projects.

The tour provided a hands-on learning experience connecting classroom knowledge with real-world applications, while showcasing the teamwork, dedication and skills that make Danos projects successful.
