Episode seventeen of the Producing Confidence Podcast is now live.

In this episode of Producing Confidence, we sat down with Owner and CEO Paul Danos to explore how Danos safeguards its culture during rapid growth; why purpose is central to every acquisition; and how frontline leaders translate values into action. In addition, Paul outlines the development programs fueling growth and the next wave of opportunity for the organization.

Challenge coins likely originated in the Roman Empire. A leader sometimes presented a special coin to soldiers to signify outstanding achievement. These coins were different than the ones used to pay wages because they featured the marks of the legion. Even though the special coin could be spent like regular money, it was often kept as a memento because of its significance.

Our purpose indicates that part of the reason this company exists is to, “Develop great people to solve big challenges." It’s that time of year when we recognize some of the great people who are doing amazing things out on the front lines with our customers.

As we near the end of 2023, let us reflect on our colleagues who this year have exemplified Danos’ purpose, values and high-performance culture. Our nomination process for 2023 Staff Employee of the Year and the 2023 Dwain “Hog” Carell Field Employee of the Year will begin soon! These prestigious awards recognize high-achieving employees who go above and beyond in their roles.

On Tuesday, June 8, Owner Paul Danos conducted the second Town Hall meeting of 2021 from Danos’ warehouse in Kenedy, Texas. Paul reminded the team why we do these quarterly meetings - to maintain communication because setting the standard for operational excellence is hard work. We need to keep our purpose, vision and values at the forefront of our minds.

Owner Paul Danos thanks and recognizes Danos employees assigned to the Mesquite account for their excellent customer service to get production back online after the artic blast in Texas. Their dedication and determination in addressing the customer needs with urgency played an integral part in getting energy restored in the state.

At the first Town Hall of 2021, Owner Paul Danos said he wanted to inform, align and inspire. He discussed some of the lessons learned from 2020, as well as new challenges that 2021 has brought. At Danos we are optimistic about the future. “We are essential—not just in the nature of what we do but in the way we do it,” said Paul.
