Last month, Danos hosted it’s annual Safety Focus at the Barry P. Bonvillain Civic Center. It was a great turnout with approximately 329 employees in attendance. The day was filled with fun, current hot topics, great food and fabulous door prizes. Thank you to everyone who contributed and attended.

Deepwater Operator A Cody Ward and Ballast Control Operator George Horsfall were recently recognized at Oxy’s year-end Scorecard meeting in The Woodlands for their outstanding contributions to the Oxy Safety Observation program.

After more than three decades of dedicated service, Joseph E. (J.E.) Rutherford has retired from Danos, closing a remarkable 32.5-year career.

Deepwater Electrician Grant Herpin recently earned high praise from Oxy Operations Manager Mike Nance for going above and beyond to support the team offshore.

Danos is proud to recognize James Meyer as the 2025 Drive for Safety Grand Prize winner, earning $5,000 for his outstanding commitment to safe driving. A production operator in the Eagle Ford region supporting Verdun out of Fasching, Texas, James drove approximately 25,000 miles in 2025 without a single incident, violation or infraction — an achievement that reflects exceptional focus, discipline and accountability.

Fleet Supervisor Kathryne Smith recently presented at the Geotab Conference, where she shared insights into Danos’ fleet safety program and the measurable progress achieved in recent years.

Rachel Gray, a production analyst supporting Exxon in Midland, was recently recognized for going above and beyond during the merger of Pioneer into Exxon. Her supervisor praised Rachel for her subject matter expertise, professionalism and positive attitude while supporting major projects during a complex and critical transition, saying:

In 2025, our fleet logged over 15 million miles in support of our people, projects and customers.

Solar Technicians Edgar Rangel and Andres Diaz recently earned positive feedback from customer Sungrow for their work performing hot commissioning on 12 model 4400 and two model 3600 solar inverters at a site in Ohio.

On Tuesday, November 18, Hank Danos was presented with the prestigious Ed Steimel Achievement Award, recognizing his decades of leadership, innovation and community impact across Louisiana. The award, given annually by the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), honors individuals whose extraordinary commitment helps strengthen the state’s economy and quality of life.

Compliance Coordinator Rick Keen recently recognized Danos Risk Manager Ross Barker for his efforts to ensure our corporate risk protection is met. His responsibilities are indirectly aligned with our safety department. Rick said,
