Developing Great People Through Acquisitions

CEO Paul Danos has said he wants Danos to be a “development machine.” One meaningful way that vision comes to life is through acquisitions, which continue to create new pathways for employee growth across the organization.
Since 2014, Danos has completed seven acquisitions, opening doors for leadership development, promotions, expanded responsibilities and exposure to new service lines. In 2025, Danos acquired X-Pro Valve, Wood's Onshore Labor and Panel Specialists. Through those acquisitions, 17 employees experienced identifiable development opportunities, with some stepping into multiple new roles or responsibilities.
Employees who saw development opportunities through these acquisitions include:
Payroll Manager Aaron Rodrigue
AP and General Ledger Manager Brandy Thompson
Multimedia Production Lead Casey Cazeaux
Information Security Officer Corey Stein
Operations Manager Dustin Hebert
Accounts Receivable Manager Johnathan Fonseca
Accounts Receivable Manager Josh Gros
Network Administrator Marty Terrebonne
General Manager - Shale Production Melanie Hill
Human Resources Manager Melani Boudreaux
Corporate Controller Melissa Adams
Training Coordinator Michelle Verdin
Brand Services Manager Nicole Williams
Risk Manager Ross Barker
PR & Communications Specialist Samantha Magee
General Manager - Energy Systems Shawn Portier
IS Helpdesk Specialist Thomas Cheramie
These examples represent just a part of the impact. Many employees have been stretched and developed through past acquisitions in ways that aren’t always easy to measure but are just as meaningful.
If you’re interested in growth or development opportunities, especially as Danos continues to expand, talk with your manager about how you can be part of what’s next.
