After more than three decades of dedicated service, Joseph E. (J.E.) Rutherford has retired from Danos, closing a remarkable 32.5-year career.

Mechanic Todd McKinley and Deepwater Operator B Dayten Matthew were recently recognized by Eni as Safety and Environment Champions. The recognition is given to workers who consistently demonstrate proactive behavior and attentiveness toward improving safety and environmental performance on the job.

Last month, Quality Assurance and Asset Manager John Bigler spoke at a Holman conference about how Danos has strengthened its driving program. Jason Mayet was born into the industry. A third-generation oilfielder, Jason followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, both of whom spent decades in the industry, and even his mother worked at Danos for many years.

When it comes to quiet excellence, few embody it like Corey Stein. Named Danos’ 2024 Staff Employee of the Year, Corey has distinguished himself as a steady and trusted leader in information security, protecting the company’s operations, employees and customers from ever-evolving cyber threats.

In 2023, Rickey Guidry was named operations manager for instrumentation and electrical (I&E) services at Danos. He had been a successful I&E project manager for many years, so the promotion wasn’t unusual. But looking back over his career, Rickey couldn’t help but marvel at how far he’d come.
