LSU Tours Danos' Coastal Restoration Operations

Members from the LSU Foundation and LSU’s College of Engineering joined Danos in Amelia to tour the Danos coastal restoration operation in partnership with Natrx. Natrx's Tyler Ortego did a deep dive covering the process of creating Cajun Coral, its applications and the different shapes and sizes that we create.

After, the team went to Danos headquarters for a lunch and learn to close out the day. Both Danos and the LSU team left the meeting with a few action items to revisit including student engagement, coastal engineering and wave interaction research, and fisheries/ecosystem monitoring and research.
