Louisiana turned into a winter wonderland as winter storm Enzo dropped 7-10 inches of snow throughout the Gulf coast.

2021 was the Danos Foundation's fifth year in operation, and what a year it was! Take a look at some of our accomplishments - none of which would be possible without our amazing employees, community and supporters. Thank you for a great year!

Hugs and big thanks to Power Generation and Mechanical Operations Manager Bart Bergeron for helping my in-laws to repair their home generator after Hurricane Ida. Bart helped us source a replacement for the damaged radiator and installed it once it arrived.

Many Danos employees have been affected by the impacts of Hurricane Ida, and #TeamDanos didn’t hesitate to spring into action to offer aid and assistance. Coworkers have traveled from near and far to bring supplies and help clean up yards and homes. Those who are on the receiving end of this support are full of gratitude.

Deepwater Operator Ben Deshotels has been with Danos since February 2019. Shell Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) Ken Humphries recently recognized Ben for creating outstanding permits and JSAs creation. As a result, he was issued 50 PRIDE points from Shell. Ken said:

Land Warehouseman Brandon Bourg was recently recognized by customer Shell for his collaboration and process simplification. Last April, Brandon was part of the team to help design, test and accept changes for Shell’s new business software, S4/Hana. He was granted the title “Materials Management Super User.” As a super user, it is his responsibility to assist end users to rectify issues and provide additional training. Owner Paul Danos thanks and recognizes Danos employees assigned to the Mesquite account for their excellent customer service to get production back online after the artic blast in Texas. Their dedication and determination in addressing the customer needs with urgency played an integral part in getting energy restored in the state.

Throughout June, many Danos employees, both field and staff, sent in pictures of themselves and teammates hydrating to beat the heat for a chance to win a beach setup complete with ice chest, chairs, sunscreen and, of course, Gatorade for continued hydration. There were many pictures submitted, but there can only be one winner...

The heat is on, and the days will only continue to get hotter. We want to make sure everyone is pre-hydrating while working in the heat, so we've created a company-wide hydration contest.
