Team Danos Caring After Ida

Many Danos employees have been affected by the impacts of Hurricane Ida, and #TeamDanos didn’t hesitate to spring into action to offer aid and assistance. Coworkers have traveled from near and far to bring supplies and help clean up yards and homes. Those who are on the receiving end of this support are full of gratitude.

From Account Manager Rocky Kiffe

“Let me tell you all a little bit about my company. My back patio and yard were a mess. It looked like a war zone. I didn’t know where to start or even how to find the willpower to begin. It was pretty devastating, and Lacey and I were feeling the weight of the world.

Today, a team of angels showed up in little Larose, Louisiana. In four hours they accomplished what would have taken me a month! Heck, even one of the owners of the company was helping to pick up debris in my back yard (thank you so much Paul)!

I will never, ever, ever be able to express with words the gratitude I feel for the help my family and I received today from Blake Habbit, his wife Katie, Stephen Gros, Kerry Thibodaux, Mark Theriot, Paul Danos and Tyler Evans (and previously by our Danos family members Damien St.Pierre and Eddie Chapman). Thank you all for volunteering your time and energy into helping my family get a step closer to coming home.

Want to work for a great company who says they care and proves it? Come work for Danos. I hope to never have to work for anyone else for the rest of my life.”

From HSE Specialist Mathew Bascle:

“I wanted to give a huge shoutout to not just some co-workers of mine but men I call friends. The weather hasn’t been fair this past week, and they still showed up. Over the last year and a half, I have been able to work alongside them, and they are always helpful and willing to do whatever it takes.

Today was just another day of them showing that. They came from the Lafayette area to give me a hand with my clean up and take care of some big trees that without them would have taken me longer than I would like to think about. I can never say thank you enough or even begin to try and figure out how I could repay them for their help.

Greg Evans, Daryl Langlois and Scott Smith: I am beyond grateful for the help today. Y’all know anytime y’all need I will be there like y’all were for me today.

#TeamDanos I really do work for the best company that has the best people working for them."

From HR Assistant Julie Plaisance:

"Eric Hood filled up my gas cans, and Amanda Worrell sent Greg Evans, Mark Theriot and Scott Smith to cut my trees! Thank you Danos! I love my Danos Family! They are being the hands and feet of Jesus."

These are just a few of many examples of our employees showing they care. Our purpose is “Honor God. Develop great people to solve big challenges for our customers and communities.” And at Danos we have some GREAT people solving BIG challenges in our communities.
