Collaboration and Simplification

Land Warehouseman Brandon Bourg was recently recognized by customer Shell for his collaboration and process simplification. Last April, Brandon was part of the team to help design, test and accept changes for Shell’s new business software, S4/Hana. He was granted the title “Materials Management Super User.” As a super user, it is his responsibility to assist end users to rectify issues and provide additional training. He is also charged with identifying any process flaws or potential improvements and escalating this to the lead super user and process experts.

Aaron Mejia with Shell Contracts and Procurement (CP) Operations said the below:

“I just want to thank Brandon for doing his part in helping on a lot of queries from CP in the business. With a lot of new people on board, it is not easy to conduct training and assistance, as we are still in the early stages of further improving other processes in S4/Hana.

Brandon has been very approachable with regards to materials management concerns which aims to ensure 'right first-time mindset' is being taken into serious consideration. It’s always a pleasure working with him.”

Additionally, Brandon recently served as one of four in-house, subject-matter experts to help to develop processes for Danos’ new intelligent integrated materials solutions (i2ms) service. I2ms is a fully-customizable data platform to optimize materials management operations across three primary areas: inventory and materials, warehouse and logistics. Thank you, Brandon, for your commitment to customer service and for representing #TeamDanos!
