Danos Achieves Platinum Status

 Danos is proud to announce that we have been awarded Platinum status in the 2024 Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) by both the Pelican and Bayou chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). This recognition highlights our commitment to upholding a world-class safety management system and continuously improving workplace safety practices. 

What is STEP?

STEP is a safety benchmarking and improvement tool designed to elevate safety performance across the construction and industrial sectors. It encourages organizations to engage employees from all levels—through safety committees or diverse working groups—in evaluating and enhancing key safety components. This collaborative approach provides a comprehensive assessment of safety programs, fostering opportunities for improvement and innovation. 

The STEP program awards six levels of achievement: Participant, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Platinum recognition underscores Danos’ dedication to exceptional safety standards, emphasizing both team collaboration and a culture of safety excellence.
