Leading the Way in Mental Health Awareness and Safety

Danos Deepwater Crane Operator Michael “Reese” Harberson recently stood out for his proactive approach in addressing a crucial safety issue in today’s society—mental awareness.

Reese took it upon himself to lead discussions on the importance of mental well-being, highlighting the role we all play in being our “Brother’s keeper.” His initiative comes at a critical time, as many of us face the daily stresses of life and the additional challenges brought on by events such as hurricane recovery.

“In light of his outstanding efforts, I personally reached out to Reese to thank him for his leadership and commitment to representing Danos in such an impactful way,” said Danos Account Manger Bert Pitre. Mental health is a conversation that needs to happen more often, and Reese has shown how action, empathy and leadership can make a difference.

At Danos, we are proud to have individuals like Reese who not only excel in their roles, but also go above and beyond to care for the well-being of their peers and community.

Thank you, Reese, for your bias to action.
