Olympus Crew Operates at High Level

Olympus offshore installation manager (OIM) Matt Horin said, “They continue to operate at a high level, and their skill set is such that is hard to replicate with just any crew. As always, we appreciate having them on the team and the work they are doing here.”

Matt shared an email he received from Chris Harrison, Shell operations and maintenance coordinator at Olympus:

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Danos paint crew for the past two years. In those years, those on the paint crew have been integral members of the Olympus family. They have a sincere input in the development of our diverse, goal-oriented and safety culture that contribute to our core values.

For example, in the past year alone, they have been instrumental in completing the following:

• High priority crane boom corrosion remediation work - This was added to their scope/schedule on top of current workload. (Working from heights)

• High priority potable water take installation (coating application for leak prevention). Another job added to their workload. (Confined space)

• Accommodation entry prep/prime/paint. Added to workload.

The Danos paint crew continues to go above and beyond to assist operations whether through technical assistance, assisting with onloads/backloads of stores and team participation on the facility.
