Titan's Continued Safety Excellence

Congratulations to the crew on Equinor Titan who recently completed a U.S. Coast Guard inspection with zero findings. Additionally, Titan completed its 12th consecutive INC Free BSEE Annual Inspection on July 16. Danos team members on Titan include:

The customer said this:

On Wednesday, June 25, the United States Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit (USCG MSU) New Orleans District boarded the Titan facility to carry out an annual safety inspection.

The USCG, along with BSEE, are the two government agencies responsible for overseeing the safety and compliance of floating offshore production and drilling units in the Gulf of America.

The USCG inspections are heavily focused on emergency preparedness and response, lifesaving equipment condition and maintenance, record keeping, and crew training and competencies.

Wednesday's inspection consisted of the following:

• Initiated an emergency response drill - simulated fire in the main galley

• Power generation - main and emergency

• Firefighting equipment

• Cranes

• Lifeboats

• Fast Rescue Craft

• Medical facilities

• Review of weekly drills and documentation

• Lifesaving equipment inspections and maintenance records

The USCG Inspection concluded with  zero findings. The inspectors complimented the offshore leadership and crews on Titan for their professionalism, knowledge and excellent performance during inspection.
